Reporter Bill Bhatti was on Keepin' it 100 with Konnan and Disco discussing the wrestling rumor mill. The topic of Roman Reigns came up.

Disco would ask, "Bro, what about this Roman Reigns stuff? It's very interesting."

Bill: "Roman Reigns is coming to Pro Wrestling Warriors, 100%. I am hearing they will make the announcement either at the press conference or at the 'Punk vs. Rollins'. The podcast comments were a red herring, from what I understand."

Konnan: "Bro, from what I am hearing it's going to be him and Punk next."

Disco: "I don't know, bro, with all of the history of Reigns and Rollins, I think that would be the hotter match. I really think this is a perfect example of the internet bubble, because I think the people would want to see Reigns and Rollins in this environment, with no losses, because these are big names. These guys were World Champions in the last couple of years. CM Punk hasn't been a champion in wrestling in, what, eight or nine years, bro? Give me a break. He got a nice reaction-"

Konnan: "Nah, bro, you don-"

Disco: "No, let me finish-"

Konnan: "Nah, man, let me say this, if Reigns and Punk go at it, that's money. If they let them build it right, that's a money match, I don't care. Paul E. will let them do it right, I think."

Bill: " Well, the word is, it sounds like Punk, but there may be more to Roman Reigns calling out Don Callis and Bill Collier. I think Heyman is going to want him moving around and helping elevate guys around the league while keeping him a big attraction for major television events. He knows he doesn't want to burn this out, because besides Lesnar, who we know has signed on for at least a few matches, there aren't many attractions in wrestling like Reigns left."

I agree with Dustin. There's so many avenues to explore beyond just a show now and this was a really creative way to move this all forward. <y favorite part was the "Nah, bro, you don-" "No, let me finish." As minor as it is, it really makes it read like a real conversation you can hear in your head. As for the content, it's doing a good job of world building. I don't know what a first league event might look like or even if they're needed anymore with the ability to just crossover at any time.

That is big news to say the least! That should be interesting no matter who wins, but obviously there's an added something if Rock has to strap the belt on Roman Reigns and "acknowledge" him as champion.

The rumor mill around "PWW 3" is churning ,as Dave Meltzer shares news from his unknown sources that is quickly spreading around the internet today on Wrestling Observer Radio.

"So I, uh, I'm hearing from a, uh, um, somebody that's very close to the situation and would know that Bryan Danielson is in Canada. He's in, uh, uh, went to Calgary, per my source. He's training for this Fight Pit match like a madman. That's why we, uh, you know, we haven't heard any response or anything because he's isolated himself and we might see a special guest with him when he shows up.

Pro Wrestling Warriors coach William Regal was interviewed by Colt Cababa on his Art of Wrestling podcast today and he had this to say about the upcoming Fight Pit match between Timothy Thatcher and Bryan Danielson.

"Timothy Thatcher is one of the most dedicated, savvy, and dangerous grapplers I've had the pleasure of sharing a ring with. He is a very intense kind of individual, truly brilliant in the ring. Reminds me of some of the best, in that respect. He has taken to my teachings and the training and he is ready to excel at a whole new level. Bryan found this out; Cesaro found this out.

"Bryan, though, he's bloody stubborn, isn't he? You know him. (laughs) I mean, I offered him my services early on, we always got on well, we go back decades now. He's always said great things about me, and he's truly one of the best to ever step into a ring. And that covers a lot of ground, Colt, it really does. But he has become arrogant. He's a fed cat drinking from a saucer at home with his family and comforts, and he thinks he can do it all on his own. Have it your way, Bryan. You got this bloody ruse of him going to Canada and making a big show of it, even though he's acting like he's not. It's pure theatre, Colt, bringing the attention back to himself. Bryan, you should know, it's not goin' to save ya, Sunshine. Tim Thatcher, he lives that life every single day. He doesn't have the comforts, doesn't live in luxury. One half of the "PWW 3" main event, CM Punk, was on Jim Rome's Daily Jungle to talk about a variety of topics, from wrestling to MMA to hockey and more. Of course, the topic of his upcoming match with Roman Reigns for the PWW Ultimate Title was broached.

Jim Rome:
"So, Punk, you know we've gotta talk about this. We're going to shine this up, you're big match in a couple weeks. Cable TV. Main event. Huge stuff. Big fight coming up with Roman Reigns for the World title. The clones need to know what you're thinking going into this."

CM Punk:
"Well, it's actually the ULTIMATE Title, so it's the end all/be all of wrestling titles on the line."

Jim Rome:
"Ha, no pressure, right?"

CM Punk:
"Ha, always pressure, man, but that's what it's all about. I have been feeding on that pressure and beating the odds my entire life. And April 2nd, Newark, New Jersey, it'll be no different than any other time I had some bully poking me the chest, getting in my face and telling me I'm not good enough. You'd think after everything I've done, I'd get a little respect, but that just ain't happening."

Jim Rome:
"You have a long list of accomplishments, my friend."

CM Punk:
"And a long line of haters and naysayers who want to see me fail. Head of the line is the 'Head of the Table' Roman Reigns. Roman has been handed everything in this business, and yet he thinks he knows about me and what I've been through. Roman was born with a leg up, given everything he ever wanted, and he thinks that makes him better than everybody else.

"Me? I had to fight from the bottom, and every damn day I have to keep fighting to stay at the top. I had to beat one of the best wrestlers in the world to get this match. Roman Reigns shows up, they hand him a contract. Well, Roman, guess what? You're everything I despise in this world, and the more you tell me I can't do it and I don't belong, the more I want to rip your head off. So go ahead, doubt me. Look past me all you want, because I'm guaranteeing everyone, the day you signed that contract was the day you signed your death warrant. On April 2nd, live on the Paramount Network, CM Punk is going to show up at the Prudential Center not to win some title, but to flip the table on Roman Reigns and rip his god damn head off!"

Regal's potential role in that Fight Pit match will be interesting to watch.

CM Punk did a good job of talking up the Roman Reigns match but I'm not sure he has what it takes. A lot of people coming at Reigns though so the pressure could get to him.

Today we see Roman Reigns join Steve Austin on his Stone Cold Podcast. They talked a bout a number of things, as you can imagine, ranging from his early childhood and family, his time in football, his early days in pro wrestling, The Shield, his run after The Shield, his battle with leukemia and then into more current events.

Here are a couple of quotes from the podcast:

Steve Austin:
"You know, you've had a helluva rub, you got a helluva gimmick there with this 'Head of the Table' deal. Man, where do you see yourself goin' in the sport now? What do you do from here to keep that fire alive?"

Roman Reigns:
"There's so much more to do, because the haters keep popping up right and left. I feed on that, Steve, it's a big driving force for me. And not just in Pro Wrestling Warriors, but the entire NWA and wrestling world in general. I want what is mine, which is absolute respect. Whether it's CM Punk or that loud mouth punk bitch Don Callis down in PvP, it don't matter to me. I will pull up and Smash 'em and get my respect. If CM Punk wants it, if Bil Collier wants it, WALTER, Josh Alexander, Okada... I don't give a damn. I'm an all timer, I'm the GOAT, no offense, but I'm the best to do this, and I'm will beat anybody to prove that."

Steve Austin:
"No offense taken, brother, cause that's how you gotta think if you want to be the best. You can't just show up with an 'aw shucks' attitude like you're some lucky son of uh bitch to be there. I respect that grind, man, and a lot of these young cats need to take note of it."

On his match with CM Punk for the PWW Ultimate Title at "PWW 3":

Steve Austin:
"What are you expectin' in this match with Punk at the pay per view or whatever, that's what we used to call 'em. This guy has a decorated background, he's a hell of a hand, got that great support from the fans with that gimmick and his skills on a microphone. How are you going to deal with him when that bell sounds and it's just you and him, eye to eye, man to man?"

Roman Reigns:
"He ain't much of a man compared to me. He got a nice win over Seth Rollins, but that's not Roman Reigns. I was brought in to be Champion, and thats what I'm going to be when I walk out of the Prudential Center on April 2nd. Punk has talked himself up and hyped this thing and made his fans believe he can do it. But when that bell sounds and we're face to face, man to man, he's going to get smashed and his dreams are going to get crushed. Just like everybody else. And he will  have no choice but to acknowledge me."
