Walter is backstage at the Stable Wars Zone, watching TV. He's just finished watching NWA Pro Wrestling Warriors 1: Omega vs Rollins. He switches it off and turns to the camera.
W: 'Samoa Joe. That's a name with some history. You were my idol. My hero. I watched your matches any way I could as I trained to be a wrestler, someday wishing to become my country's answer to you. And you've wrestled them all. Kenta Kobashi, AJ Styles, Mitsuhara Misawa, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar and CM Punk to name a few. What's one more name to add to the list, right?'
He gets up from his chair, continuing to stare down the camera.
W: 'But here's the thing. You are not a young man Samoa Joe. You'll soon be 43 years old. You're old, tired, broken down. Kevin Nash joked the other day you can't so much as throw a punch without tearing a quad. He knows plenty about that. You remind me of a character from the video game Punch Out: Glass Joe. You are far from the wrestler I worshipped all those years ago'
He picks up the TV and in a needless show of strength, throws it against the wall, breaking it into pieces.
W: 'You see that Joe? That's you when you step in that ring with anyone. But I'm not just anyone. I'm 6 feet 4, 295 pounds and in my prime. There's not a man on this Earth who can stop me at my worst, let alone my best. What makes you think you can be any different?
Kevin Nash told me something else. He retired from wrestling because he wanted to be able to see his kids grow up. You might not have kids Joe, but do you want your wife to become a widow? Because get in the ring with me and that's what she'll become.
So do us all a favour. Retire. Get behind the announcers desk and do the one thing your still good at. Don't taint that incredible legacy of yours any more. I'll be there on March 5th, but if you are, then I will break you.'
He turns to leave, but then returns.
W: 'One more thing. Scott Steiner, I saw you running your mouth. Harassing female announcers like equality didn't happen, showing off your skinny old man arms and calling me a fat ass. The only peaks you have these days are on your belly. Becky Lynch would kick your ass if you put the moves on her. My advice to you and Lashley is to stay out of Lucha Things business. Otherwise, Dominik and me will be down there to break you both.'
