(Little Early, but had time to write it up and I'm pretty proud of this one.)
We've got a cold open happening for Power Up! Behind the scenes stuff, Zeke Mercer is in the office of Adam Pearce, the director of PvP talent. Mercer is irate after being blasted with a fireball from Phillips at the go home show leading up to tonight. Pearce does his best to calm him down, but Zeke wants to find TJ in the back and beat him into retirement. Adam Pearce offers him not only a match, but due to how powerful the match will be tonight, Adam declares that the 5UP title will be on the line as well! If we're going to have the best light weights in the NWA battling we can at least put a belt on one of them!
Andrew Palace will go against "Big Time" Bill Collier for the top prize in PvP the L-Stream title! Zero G Zen will face The Throwbacks for the 2P titles and so so so much more! But let's head to the ring for our opening contest!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Mount Kilpis (Paulie Kilpis & Gannon Green) vs. The Alliance of Violence (Patrick James & Jackson Cole) w/ Dustin Ashes
Mount Kilpis (Paulie Kilpis & Gannon Green) vs. The Alliance of Violence (Patrick James & Jackson Cole) w/ Dustin Ashes
This was a war, both teams have known each other for awhile so they were able to put on a great match up that set the ton for the entire show! Gannon would try to take on the Alliance with a solid amateur wrestling clinic but AoV cheat, and they do it well. Dustin Ashes is their manager and he brought out "The Book of Violence" like the necronomicon but pages of how to completely destroy and dismantle a person on every page. Ashes would direct traffic from outside shouting out ways to dole out maximum punishment. The match would take a turn after Paulie Kilpis hit the ring as a ball of dumb baby fire! He'd end up clotheslining both members of AoV before taking flight over the top rope! I can't ever explain enough what a sight it is to behold, it's like the most agile buffalo soaring through the air with grace and mass! The entire Alliance was wiped out in one go as Paulie tried to roll James into the ring for a pin but only got a two count! Kilpis wanted to go for a belly to belly but Patrick would fight free and the Alliance was back on the offensive. The match would break down and Kilpis would wind up on James shoulders, Cole would come in with the kill shot mafia kick and a DVD later the Alliance of Violence would take the win with the Violent End. WINNERS: The Alliance of Violence via Violent End (9:52)
SINGLES MATCH
Benny Conely w/ Mickey Fulp vs. Bruce Grey w/ Ron Mathis
Benny Conely and Mickey Fulp are full of that fun to be around energy, getting and giving love to the PvP crowd. Fulp would scream out SEWWWWWWW!! throwing up the horns and getting it back from the crowd. Conley is lovingly referred to as "The Sweetest Cheeks in Pro Wrestling" together they are the SEEWWWWW-eetest Cheeks in Pro Wrestling and the crowd just eats it up. Bruce Grey is a slicked back throw back, with an 80s used car salesmen aura about him, his goal is to bring the DDT back to the level it once had as a finishing move. Ron Mathis is white trash and proud, the match in the ring however is only Conley and Grey. The crowd was hyped as Mathis and Fulp would chip at each other trying to sway the crowd for their partners. Grey would work that old school kind of heat in the ring as Conley would get frustrated with getting repeatedly countred as Grey would flash that "I just sold this guy an expensive lemon" kinda grin. Conley would get locked in the front face lock as Grey teased the DDT, but would panic as Benny would counter with a near fall northern lights suplex. Mathis would try to get involved but would be chased down by Fulp! Bruce's smile would fade as his corner man disappears into the back. Conley was ready though, snapping off a springboard cutter to put the match away. WINNER: Benny Conely via Springboard Cutter (7:32)
After the match Mickey Fulp would come out of the back to celebrate the win with his friend Benny getting the crowd whipped up into a frenzy before slipping into the back.
PARTY MODE MATCH
Brohemoth vs. Dan "The Dad" vs. Chance Rizer vs. Darius Lockhart
Brohemoth vs. Dan "The Dad" vs. Chance Rizer vs. Darius Lockhart
Bust out the extra controllers, we've got a four way match! This was pure chaos with everyone getting their shit in, and then getting shit canned out of the ring by the next person. Rizer and Lockhart would work together to whittle down Brohemoth who was clearly the powerhouse in this match. Brohemoth was like King Kong swatting down planes as he laid in heavy hands on anyone who came near him, knocking them to the mat. Rizer would eventually try for a school boy roll up, with an assist from Dan and Darius hitting a double dropkick to get the man mountain out of the match. Dan the Dad made a mistake as the heels teamed up to try to take Dan out of the match together, but egos would play into the match with both men wanting the pin. Darius would go for the assata driver but Rizer would slide down the back and counter with the bridging german suplex to get Lockhart out of the match. This brought things to Dan "The Dad" versus "The Millennial" Chance Rizer. The back and forth between these two were comedy gold. Dan would take the mic and give Rizer a very dad talk, explaining all the bad things that people say about Millennials and all the good things before telling Rizer, "I'm proud of you son." The crowd would "awww" as Rizer looked like he was shaken by the words from "The Dad", Dan would put his hand on Rizer's shoulder but it was a ploy as Rizer would snap off a release exploder! Dan would wobble pop up to his feet just to get planted down again with a bridging suplex giving Chance the win. WINNER: Chance Rizer via Bridging German Suplex (14:01)
5UP TITLE MATCH
Zeke Mercer w/ TGA Moss vs. TJ Philips w/ Justin Blood & Remy LeVay
Zeke Mercer w/ TGA Moss vs. TJ Philips w/ Justin Blood & Remy LeVay
Last show TJ Phillips threw a fireball into the face of Mercer, but the only thing it ignited was Zeke's rage! The bell would ring and Zeke was immediately on the attack forcing Phillips to slither from the ring to conduct conversation with his council at ringside. Mercer wasn't having it as he dove through the ropes onto his opponent and tried to continue the assault! Phillips would back pedal trying to escape but would end up bumping into TGA Moss before he could escape. Justin Blood and Remy LeVay couldn't cheat to help as the ref was all over the action. Mercer would catch up and lay an ass beating on Phillips taking him back into the ring. Phillips would thumb the eye of Mercer to get some distance. Mercer was in trouble as Phillips would finally put his grappling genius to work, putting on a clinic of holds and submissions that twisted and contorted Mercer in the most menacing of ways. TJ is an old school hooker and Mercer was in dire straights, rage only gets you so far kid. Zeke would find sanctuary in the ropes trying to keep close to them as a game plan. Mercer would eventually get some momentum on his side. TJ's head careened of the canvas after a curb stomp from Mercer but Blood would drape Phillips foot on the ropes to get the pinfall broken up. Mercer went to the second rope looking to hit the diving codebreaker but Remy would grab him by the boot. TGA Moss would try to help but Justin Blood would lay him out with a clothesline to the back of the head! The ref would try to restore order on the outside, but on the inside of the ring Phillips would use the distraction to hit a neckbreaker and follow up with the shining wizard to secure the 5UP TITLE! Winner: TJ Phillips via Shining Wizard (8:47)
It's time for intermission, Joe Galli checks with the crowd that they're having a great time. The crowd isn't super happy that TJ just became the 5UP champion, but Nigel would show his excitement for Phillips in typical heel color commentator fashion. Joe Galli would try to swing things back to the happy side announcing that the next match was for the 2P titles!
2P TITLE MATCH
Zero G Zen (Lee Moriarty & Jason Kincaid) vs. The Throwbacks (Bull James & Jeremiah Plunkett)
Zero G Zen (Lee Moriarty & Jason Kincaid) vs. The Throwbacks (Bull James & Jeremiah Plunkett)
The reign of The Throwbacks dominance finally ended! Lee Moriarty and Jason Kincaid would sit in the ring holding the 2P titles, clutching them tightly as they soaked in the love and admiration from the crowd! That is until the bell started to toll...
Dustin Ashes steps out first, letting Zero G Zen know that Violence is coming their way so covet those titles as long as they can. Zero G Zen look confident until "The Reaper" steps out pointing at them in eerie fashion. This brings out Cole Karter whos supposed to be in this match, and the two men battle their way to the ring, with Conard getting the upper hand hitting Karter with those heavy concrete like right hands. "The Reaper" sheds the pageantry as the match gets into the ring starting officially.
SINGLES MATCH
"The Thoroughbred" Cole Karter vs. "The Reaper" Matt Conard w/ Dustin Ashes
"The Thoroughbred" Cole Karter vs. "The Reaper" Matt Conard w/ Dustin Ashes
Karter is still reeling from the hits but tells the ref he can go as he flies at Conard getting in a knee to the midsection. This isn't a wrestling match, this is survival. Karter is a kid with heart but he can't keep absorbing those kinds of shots from "The Reaper". Karter tries to keep the match grounded locking in basic but expertly applied holds trying to keep it a wrestling match. Conard would fight back though peppering Cole with punches of lesser impact but still painful enough to get the match back into his realm. Conard would go to his "happy place" which spells misery for anyone else. Conard loves going for the leg, he loves hobbling his opponent to prey on them like a wounded animal. Karter would try to limp away but would be stalked and mocked as Conard would limp behind him, toying with the young star. Karter would continue to fight, and it might not read through text but Cole really put in a great showing but Conard is on the rise and Karter just couldn't stop him tonight. Conard would eventually put Karter down with the Hangman's Neckbreaker to end the suffering. WINNER: Matt Conard via The Hangman's Neckbreaker (11:09)
L-STREAM TITLE MATCH
Andrew Palace vs. "Big Time" Bill Collier w/ Don Callis
Andrew Palace vs. "Big Time" Bill Collier w/ Don Callis
Don Callis was all over the crowd with mic in hand, letting them all know that they should be honored that Collier would even be in this match. Callis believes that Collier is just too "Big Time" for PvP and should be recognized Nationally for what he is, and that's the biggest name in the National Wrestling Alliance! Callis would continue to sing the praises of his client until Palace would come out and unceremoniously take the mic from Callis, making a showing of turning the mic off and throwing it to a stage hand. Callis looked annoyed but backed off as Palace gave him the kind of smile only befitting a maniac. Collier looked intense but let things play out until the bell ring, then it was on! Collier doesn't get paid by the hour and he imposed his will on Palace who was taken a back by Colliers power, having to rely on his double expresso offense to try to strike fast and hard. Callis looked on in horror as Andrew Palace was starting to show that Collier might be big but he's still human! Callis would scream and shout trying to get something going as Collier started to fold like a house of cards in an earthquake. It only took one back elbow to stop everything cold, blood would fly from the mouth of Palace who would grin with the red stuff trickling down his jaw. It was on as the match kicked into another gear, Collier was weakened to the point that this was a match. "Big Time" was going through opponents like a hot knife but now he had to put on a match! Palace tried for the Hernia Driver (Pump Handle into a driver) but Collier was able to fight free and come back with a head caving boot! Collier had had enough, laying Palace out with a huge clothesline but only got a two count! Bill looked next level enraged as Palace came up swinging, catching Collier with a couple of good shots but was eventually driven nearly through the canvas with a powerbomb. It was finally over... WINNER: Bill Collier via Powerbomb (15:27)
After the match Callis decided to put the entire NWA on notice, Bill Collier is called "Big Time" and there's a reason for it. Watch your backs, because Collier is coming for each and every one of you!
