Opening match
Brent Banks (1-1) vs Buck Gunderson (0-2)
Buck Gunderson is still struggling, looking for that first win. Tonight he has the difficult task of facing Brent Banks with Gunderson tending to focus more on a classic mat wrestling style, while Banks takes to the air with some high flying blended in. That is the story of the match, at least until Gunderson rakes the eyes, breaking from the mat wrestler and just doing anything he can as he desperately seeks a win. Gunderson manages to lock Banks into the crossface chickenwing, trying to get a submission, but Banks fights it, eventually kicking off the turnbuckle to break free. As they get up, Banks kicks Gunderson and grabs the head, jumping up and flipping back with a Shiranui (Sliced Bread). He covers and gets the 3 count for the win.
Brent Banks defeats Buck Gunderson @ 9:04 via pinfall after a Shiranui.
Banks improves to 2-1 and cements his spot in the upcoming Heavyweight Title Tournament that starts on the next show. At 0 wins, Gunderson is for sure on the outside looking in when it comes to the Tournament and throws a fit at ringside. Suddenly Psycho Mike Rollins comes out and says something to him in his ear. Gunderson seems to like that as Rollins smiles and the two of them walk out together. What did Rollins say to Gunderson?!?
The Professors Challenge
Beautiful Beaa (0-0) vs Serena Deeb (0-0)
Heading to the ring next is Serena Deeb, making her 6ix debut here. Known as The Professor, she uses that nickname because she is here to teach the young talent how wrestling is done, using her experience. She says that The Professors Challenge is 5 minutes and if she is pinned or submitted or her opponent last the time limit, they win, but adds that she won't win. This brings out Beautiful Beaa from Port Colborne, Ontario. The match starts with Deeb toying with Beaa early on. Beaa does get some offense until Serena catches her with a spear. She then taunts the fans before putting on the Serenity Lock for the submission win.
Serena Deeb defeats Beautiful Beaa @ 3:18 via submission to the Serenity Lock.
Serena initially does not release the hold but when threatened with a reversal of decision by the referee, she finally lets go. She looks down at Beaa, almost laughing. With the women's division seemingly picking up momentum in the 6ix, Serena has to be at or near the top of it with her Professor's Challenge likely to put down many wrestlers to come.
RJ City Toronto Invitational - Riverdale
Space Monkey (1-1) vs RJ City (1-1)
On the last show, RJ City faced defeat at the hands of a surprise debut from Cameron Grimes but if he has his way, that wasn't an open challenge match and thus he is still sitting pretty at 1-0. For the Riverdale neighborhood of Toronto, the open challenge is answered by crowd favorite Space Monkey. With the monkey mask and spacesuit with tail, Space Monkey is ready for this one. Insulting as he is, City pulls out a banana and starts to eat in front of Space Monkey, trying to get him off his game. In the process, the peel falls and City slips on it, allowing Space Monkey to nearly steal the win only seconds in. The offense continues with Space Monkey hitting a monkeyflip but City eventually ducks a clothesline and hits one in return. He works over Space Monkey before readying for "Knee Arthur", a vicious knee to the head. Space Monkey avoids it and starts doing some tail whips, eventually tripping City. He quickly heads up the ropes to hit a reverse 450 splash. Space Monkey covers and gets the 3!
Space Monkey defeats RJ City @ 8:53 via pinfall after a reverse 450 Splash.
City can't believe it as this has to be considered a mild upset! Space Monkey wins to go to 2-1 and earns himself a higher seeding in the Tournament on the next show while City's loss would have to put him near the bottom at 1-2, if not at the bottom as it's actually impossible that anybody else in the 6ix end up with a win and 2 losses by the end of the night. City again proclaims that this never started, the banana peel was illegal!, and thus he is still undefeated! Nice try.
6ix Person Mixed Tag Team match
The Fraternity, Channing Decker & Trent Gibson, & Alexia Nicole vs The Butcher and The Blade, & The Bunny
This match comes about after the events of the last show after The Bunny stole a win from Alexia Nicole with help from The Blade, but Nicole was able to return the favor later by preventing Bunny's interference so that The Fraternity could beat The Butcher & The Blade. The Fraternity have their paddle with them as well as red solo cups, offering to induct Nicole as an honorary member before the match. She agrees so Gibson wants to paddle her first but it gets interrupted by the opposition. Much of the match is building to a showdown between Nicole and The Bunny with Gibson ending up isolated and worked over by Butcher & The Blade. He manages to duck under a double clothesline and catch both with a double clothesline before tagging Nicole. This forces The Bunny into legality as they both enter with Nicole going to work over her. Eventually all six wrestlers end up in the ring with The Fraternity taking care of Butcher & The Blade, while Nicole hits Bunny with a Dyslexia tornado DDT from the top rope. She covers and gets the 3 count for the win.
The Fraternity & Alexia Nicole defeat The Butcher and The Blade & The Bunny @ 13:27 when Alexia Nicole pinned The Bunny after the Dyslexia.
A big win for the trio as The Fraternity hoist Nicole up on their shoulders to celebrate. Bunny is furious and trying to get back in as The Blade holds her back. While Alexia Nicole may have got a win back today, she still wants that singles victory over The Bunny and this issue appears far from over between them.

Singles match
Cameron Grimes (1-0) vs Speedball Mike Bailey (1-0)
Back from break and two more wrestlers heading to the tournament with a win, each looking for that second victory to improve their standing. Grimes does his to the mooooooon bit but Bailey isn't laughing as he's all business here today. Grimes gets it and knows what he's up against now as the action gets going. Bailey tries a series of kicks early but Grimes just mocks him, doing a crane kick like he's the Karate Kid. Bailey isn't amused as Grimes tells him to relax, only to take a spinning back fist for his troubles. Bailey starts working away on Grimes, eventually trying for the Ultima Weapon, a Shooting star double knee drop, but Grimes gets out of the way! Grimes starts making a comeback but out of nowhere, takes a roundhouse kick to the head that almost allows Bailey to surprise for the 3. Grimes starts to recover again and hits an Orange Crush, a vertical suplex powerbomb. As Bailey gets up, Grimes jumps up to hit the Cave-In, a leaping double foot stomp. He covers and gets the 3 for the win.
Cameron Grimes defeats Speedball Mike Bailey @ 11:35 via pinfall after the Cave-In.
A big win for Grimes, an important win at that. He improves to 2-0 and guarantees himself the second seed in the Tournament for the next show, coming in just behind whoever wins the main event to improve to 3-0. Bailey meanwhile eats a loss to drop to 1-1, nothing to write home about, but still good enough to guarantee him a spot. Grimes holds out a hand after the match as Bailey reluctantly accepts but at the last second, Grimes pulls the hand back laughing. He gives one more to the mooooooon, leaving Bailey frustrated.
Main Event #1
***SOMEBODY MUST WIN***
LA Knight (0-1), w/ Santino Marella vs Ethan Page (0-1), w/ Dan Lambert
A lot is riding on this one on two fronts. First off, the loser will continue at 0 wins, getting them a one way ticket out of the tournament on the next show. Secondly, the growing rivalry between Santino Marella and Dan Lambert takes center stage with Marella giving him the cobra last month and Lambert vowing to get revenge this time out. The match starts with Knight and Page trading the advantage but the first big spot coming with Lambert getting on the apron in anger, feeling the referee isn't being fair to his man. Marella gets on the apron across the ring but both end up back on the floor. Knight continues to work away on Page, hitting a neckbreaker for a 2 count. Lambert gets a little too close for comfort, distracting Knight as Marella closes in on Lambert. This gives Page time to hit Knight from behind. Page gives Knight a Fast Snap DDT for a 2 count. Page continues to work away until trying for the Ego's Edge but Knight breaks free. Knight starts making a comeback, lifting Page up to hit the Gravy Train. He covers but Lambert gets in the ring, distracting the referee. Marella gets in and readies the Cobra but Lambert pulls the referee into the line of fire! The referee goes down as Marella chases off Lambert. Page though hits a low blow on Knight from behind before standing and giving him A Good Right Hand. A new referee slides in as Page covers to get the 3.
Ethan Page defeats LA Knight @ 13:40 via pinfall after A Good Right Hand (and a low blow).
Page steals this one! He picks up that much needed win to improve to 1-1 and punch his ticket in the Tournament. There's no sign of Lambert but Page just basks in the glory. With the loss, Knight drops to 0-2, which while certainly no indication of him as a wrestler as the losses are to Page and Josh Alexander, it leaves a win short of qualifying. After the match, Marella is back in to help Knight, with Marella vowing that he will get his hands on Dan Lambert, one way or another.
Introduction
Guest Commissioner Sweet Daddy Siki
Guest Commissioner for the night, Sweet Daddy Siki, comes to the ring next. He pushes his karaoke at the nearby Duke Live. He talks about his years spent wrestling at Maple Leaf Gardens, the original building, reminiscing about the night that he challenged Dory Funk Jr. for the NWA World Heavyweight championship. He mentions other opponents like Billy Red Lyons, Whipper Billy Watson, even Bruno Sammartino. Before he can continue, he's cut off by The Acclaimed with Max Caster coming out to a rap, badmouthing Siki and the city of Toronto. Siki challenges him to a sing off but The Acclaimed don't seem too concerned. Siki's own song Rock and Roll Shimmy Shimmy Partner plays as he does karaoke along to it, infuriating The Acclaimed. They appear ready to go at Siki but Halal Beefcake run out for the save ...
Tag Team match
Halal Beefcake (0-1), Idris Abraham & Joe Coleman vs The Acclaimed (0-0), Max Caster & Anthony Bowens
Contrasting teams here with Halal Beefcake being fitness freaks while The Acclaimed are far more focused on their rapping. No jugs of protein powder today for Halal as they had to rush out to make the save. Helping them out though, Siki would stay in their corner for the match - maybe a little biased for somebody supposedly acting as Commissioner! The match starts as a back and forth until Joe Coleman gets isolated by The Acclaimed and worked over. Anthony Bowens gets him into a crossface, nearly getting the submission but he gets to the ropes. Idris Abraham would eventually take the hot tag and start going to work on Bowens, bringing in Max Caster as well. Abraham seemingly has the match in hand but Bowens hits an Olympic slam before tagging out to Caster. He heads to the top rope and connects with the Mic Drop, a diving elbow drop. He covers as Bowens cuts off Coleman from making the save while the referee counts 3.
The Acclaimed defeat Halal Beefcake @ 7:12 when Max Caster pinned Idris Abraham after the Mic Drop.
The Acclaimed pick up the win in their debut to move to 1-0 but the focus after the match is on Sweet Daddy Siki. The Acclaimed want to take him out as they corner him but Halal Beefcake are able to make the save. Both Caster & Bowens take right hands but then the big shot comes when Siki hammers each of them with a big right hand. He dances around after, even getting Halal Beefcake in on the action!
Main Event #2
***SOMEBODY MUST LOSE***
Josh Alexander (2-0) vs MJF (2-0)
This is the big one. Both Josh Alexander and MJF sit at 2 wins a piece, no losses. The winner of this one moves to an unprecedented 3 wins in the 6ix. MJF is all business tonight, although he does take a few seconds to cuss out some ringside fans. He then finds a fan with a homemade MJF sign and acts like he's impressed before grabbing it and ripping it in half to booing. Alexander has seen enough as he comes from behind, hammering MJF. He takes it back into the ring where MJF begs off before a thumb to the eye. MJF starts working over Alexander, focusing his offense on the arm, likely with his submission in mind. Alexander is able to mount a comeback, hitting a powerbomb into the knee and covering for a 2 count. He continues with a German suplex before doing the throat slit. As he grabs MJF, he surprises Alexander and forces him down, putting on the Salt of the Earth! MJF pulls back on the arm, trying for that submission! Alexander has to tap but he avoids it and just gets to the ropes in time. MJF thinks he has won, only to find out he hasn't. Alexander then surprises him by sweeping out the leg and putting on the ankle lock! MJF tries for the ropes as he also wants to avoid tapping, eventually rolling in, sending Alexander into the corner. MJF tries to put the Salt of the Earth back on but Alexander is able to counter, getting him in the double underhook and lifting him up for the C4 Spike! Alexander covers after the modified piledriver and gets the 3!
Josh Alexander defeats MJF @ 14:29 via pinfall after the C4 Spike.
Alexander does it! He picks up that elusive third win, earning top seed for the tournament that starts on the next show. There's little time to celebrate though as from the back, Ethan Page is back out to hit him from behind. MJF is back up and joins in as they start double teaming Alexander, presumably with the goal of taking him out before he can even compete in the tournament. Suddenly from the back, LA Knight rushes out and helps Alexander fight them off. Last show they were opponents, tonight they're fighting the same fight. Alexander thanks Knight for the assist while Knight motions to his waist, telling Alexander to just win that title and when he does, give him the first shot! Sounds good ...
