Introduction
Guest Commissioner Lance Storm
Storm emerges to a pop from the fans, shaking hands along the way. He gets in the ring and starts by thanking 6ix Wrestling and more specifically the fans for this opportunity. He may be known for his time in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but he was born in Sarnia, Ontario, and later attended Wilfrid Laurier so he is quite familiar with the province, adding that he has had many matches in Toronto over the years. Storm says that since leaving the ring, he has kept himself busy with training wrestlers, as well as appearances for F4W Online. He says he is here to start with an announcement when he is interrupted ...
Out comes Chelsea Green, set to compete later, a Storm Academy graduate. She tells the audience to shhhhhhhh as she then heads to the ring. Storm says it's good to see Green again but she's not in a jovial mood, wondering she's been put into the 6ix woman tag team match later when she's clearly head & shoulders above the rest? Storm says that he took what in his opinion was 6 of the best women here and put them in a match to see just who is the best. Green answers back that she'll save him the trouble because she is the best and she shouldn't have to waste her time in that match! Storm says that she will have the chance as two events from now will be a single elimination tournament to crown a woman's champion. Green says he's only commissioner for tonight though so he can't do that. Storm chuckles before going stone faced and saying "if I could be serious for a minute?" to a big pop. He then says that his announcement tonight is not that he's the guest commissioner but rather the permanent full time commissioner of the 6ix Wrestling! Green is angry as the fans cheer but there's little she can do about it.
Opening match
Sebastian Suave (0-2) vs Buck Gunderson (0-3), w/ Psycho Mike Rollins
This is a battle of the winless with Gunderson aligning himself with Rollins in an effort to turn their woes into wins. Suave isn't having it as the match starts with him controlling the early going but the presence of Rollins on the outside is enough for Gunderson to use the distraction and turn it around. Gunderson eventually sends Suave to the outside where Rollins takes him and throws him into the ring post. Back inside, Gunderson readies for the crossface chickenwing but Suave runs him back first into the corner to break free. He starts a comeback but Gunderson ducks and Suave accidentally hits the referee. That allows Rollins to come in and half. He tells Gunderson to hold Suave as he charges with a discus clothesline but Suave ducks and Rollins hits Gunderson. Suave dropkicks Rollins from the ring and rolls Gunderson up with a schoolboy for the 3 count.
Sebastian Suave defeats Buck Gunderson @ 7:35 via pinfall with a schoolboy after the interference of Psycho Mike Rollins backfired.
Gunderson is furious with that loss, blaming Rollins for it. Rollins requests the mic so that he can tell Gunderson that this was all part of his plan! Gunderson wants to know how this was a part of the plan? Rollins tells him that now he has lost again but he will get win at the next show because it will be Gunderson against ... himself! Gunderson and Rollins will face each other, guaranteeing one gets a win, and according to Rollins, that somebody will be Gunderson. We'll see ...
Championship Tournament
Space Monkey (2-1), #5 seed vs Jock Samson (1-0), #6 seed
The first match in the tournament to crown a first ever 6ix Heavyweight champion at the next show. The match pits the masked Space Monkey and Samson, telling the fans of Toronto that it's time to make Canada great again just like Trump made America great again! Samson takes the mic before the match to run down Space Monkey as a mere primate, lacking the evolution of Samson to the brilliant man that stands before all of you. Samson uses his size advantage as an obstacle that Space Monkey has to overcome but in the same way Homo habilis was the first to use tools, Space Monkey figures out that his speed will keep him a step faster than Samson. Samson tries a clothesline but it gets ducked before Space Monkey dropkicks him to the corner. He then goes up to to hit a reverse 450 Splash and cover for the 3.
Space Monkey defeats Jock Samson @ 6:48 via pinfall after a reverse 450 Splash.
Samson can't believe it! Space Monkey advances on as Samson gets up and starts kicking the ropes. He takes the mic and proceeds to call this the great steal and that the 6ix is working against him so he wants the referee confiscated so that he can get to the bottom of this! The referee ignores him so Samson he'll be hearing from his legal team!
6ix Woman Tag Team match
Aliyah, Smiley Kylie Rae & Sleepy Wendy Choo vs Rosemary, Shotzi Blackheart & Chelsea Green
After new full time commissioner Lance Storm announced a tournament to crown a Women's champion two shows from now, impressing in this one is paramount to all the competitors. Aliyah and Rosemary are both from Toronto so fans are torn on who to support. Aliyah is at a slight disadvantage because in her corner, Sleepy Wendy Choo lives up to the name and is napping on the apron! Rae offer to take the tag so she can rest but seems more concerned with getting her opponents to be happy than wrestling. Blackheart doesn't care though and takes it to her. Eventually Choo wakes up and takes the tag, entering the ring, yawning. As Green tries a clothesline, Choo avoids it by stretching herself. Green is off her game and Choo surprises when she goes from sleepy to very much awake. An elbow drop is followed by her using Green as a pillow to cover but she kicks out at 2. Aliyah is finally back in with Rosemary hits her with the Red Wedding (F-5) but before she can cover, Green tags herself back in and covers to get the 3.
Rosemary, Shotzi Blackheart & Chelsea Green defeat Aliyah, Smiley Kylie Rae & Sleepy Wendy Choo @ 10:51 when Green pinned Aliyah after the Red Wedding by Rosemary.
While she does still get the win, Rosemary doesn't care much for Green's actions. Blackheart tries to get between her partners to keep the peace but ends up shoved off so she hits back and all hell is breaking lose! The losing team can only watch but do so with enjoyment as the winners self implode.
Championship Tournament
Josh Alexander (3-0), #1 seed vs RJ City (1-2), #10 seed
The top wrestler so far in the 6ix is Alexander with 3 wins and no losses to his team. City barely got into the tournament but is still here as the last seed. The winner of this joins Space Monkey at the next event on April 16. While City is usually more than willing to do some promo work leaning into the comedic side of things, he was all business tonight with the importance of the title at play. The two trade chops to start the match but Alexander starts getting the better. Things take a turn for the worst when City is sent to the corner with an Irish whip and ends up going up and over to the apron. Alexander comes to grab him but City drops down to hang him up with the top rope, leaving Alexander on the mat. With his neck issues, the referee checks on Alexander and once he gets the all clear, City creeps in like a vulture to start going to work, choking him with the middle rope. He continues working him over until City catches him with a jumping knee to the face and setting up his knee pad for Knee Arthur but as he pops Alexander up, he blocks it and hammers back with forearms to the jaw. Alexander hits a powerbomb into the knee and then brings City up to give him the C4 Spike. He covers and gets the 3.
Josh Alexander defeats RJ City @ 9:27 via pinfall after the C-4 Spike.
Alexander does it, advancing to the title match at the next show, joining Space Monkey. So far, nobody can stop the Walking Weapon and regardless of what else happens on the show, he would have to be the favorite going into the title match to leave as the new champion. Things could take a turn though as his one time tag team partner is set to try and qualify after intermission ...

Championship Tournament
Brent Banks (2-1), #4 seed vs Ethan Page (1-1), #7 seed
No sign of Dan Lambert tonight in the corner of All Ego Ethan Page, actually entering this one as the underdog as he's seeded lower than Brent Banks, although that can be misleading as he has faced stiffer competition so far. The match starts with Banks using his speed to try and stay a step ahead of Page but he ends up caught with an Air Walk Elbow to turn it around. Page starts working Banks over, using his vast repertoire of moves to keep him grounded. An inverted gutwrench suplex gets him a 2 count but Banks stays in it. Page tries for A Good Right Hand but Banks ducks it so he goes past and counters that with a backslide for a 2 count. The action continues with Banks catching Page with an Asai DDT, nearly getting the 3. He then brings Page up and tries for a Shiranui Sliced Bread but as he jumps up to go back, Page is able to counter that by dropping him down to the mat. Getting up, Page kicks Banks in the midsection and pulls him in. He then lifts him up onto his shoulders, lifting him with his arms to drop him to the mat with the Ego's Edge. There could be no other way on a night that starts with a salute to Scott Hall as Page covers to get the 3.
Ethan Page defeats Brent Banks @ 8:14 via pinfall after Ego's Edge.
Page does it, joining Space Monkey and Josh Alexander in the final at the next show. In a weird way, Space Monkey may even be the current favorite if Alexander and Page can't put their past issues behind them. Definitely what he's going to be hoping for at least!
Championship Tournament
Cameron Grimes (2-0), #2 seed vs Vaughn Vertigo (1-1), #9 seed
Definitely a tough task here for Vaughn Vertigo. He may be fast and fly high but that might not be enough against the second seeded Cameron Grimes, who before the matches declares that he's taking Vertigo tooooo the moon! Vertigo replies back that he'll get there himself when he comes off the top rope, getting a laugh from Grimes but things quickly get serious between them. The action sees Grimes trying to keep up with Vertigo but that's far easier said than done. Grimes does manage to hit a dropkick to slow things down for himself. A bridging deadlift German suplex is followed by an attempt at the Orange Crush but as Vertigo goes up for the powerbomb, he drops behind to counter with a sunset flip for the 2 count. Vertigo then hits a hangman's facebuster to get a 2 count. A swanton bomb follows, also nearly getting the 2 count. Grimes could be in trouble but as Vertigo tries a cross bodyblock, Grimes jumps up to turn them and hit the Collision Course. He backs away and as Vertigo gets up, runs and leaps into the Cave-In double foot stomp. Grimes covers and gets the 3.
Cameron Grimes defeats Vaughn Vertigo @ 9:26 via pinfall after the Cave-In.
Grimes does it, joining Space Monkey, Josh Alexander, and Ethan Page in the final on the next show. There is still one more match to go but Grimes wants to show Vertigo some respect for taking him to the limit. The two shake hands as Grimes then applauds Vertigo as he leaves the ring.
Tag Team match
The Fraternity (2-0), Channing Decker & Trent Gibson vs The Acclaimed (1-0), Max Caster & Anthony Bowens
So far, The Fraternity have been the top tag team in the 6ix, using their Greek frat boy bit to stay ahead of the competition but that may come to an end here as The Acclaimed head out with Max Caster rapping about how The Fraternity are just like the Toronto Raptors, saying they didn't even make the playoffs last year to agitate the fans. The action starts with Decker and Bowens trying for the advantage but that going nowhere so Gibson and Caster pick it up. Gibson gets the better of him leading to a tag as Decker tries to continue this but as they battle, two unknown hooded figures come out and take The Fraternity's paddle board. Bowens gets the referee's attention as they then attack Gibson and leave with it. The match essentially became a handicap match at that point with Decker trying to survive. Decker does what he can, but The Acclaimed get ahead of themselves, double teaming him as the referee tries to restore order. Decker shoves the referee and jumps at them, leaving the referee with no choice here but to call it.
The Fraternity and The Acclaimed fought to a no-contest @ 7:52 when the referee had to throw it out.
With the match over, The Acclaimed were free to do as they wished. They would lay Decker out with a chair, leaving The Fraternity laying with a big assist going to two unknown hooded figures already having taking out Gibson for them.
Championship Tournament
Speedball Mike Bailey (1-1), #8 seed vs MJF (2-1), #3 seed
The main event sees the final spot in the championship match at the next show up for grabs with indy wrestling fans all over wishing they could see this one. MJF does a lot of stalling at the bell, trying to wait this one out as if Bailey will just disappear like magic but he eventually has to get in there and get to it. Bailey gets the early advantage on MJF, using kicks to keep distance between them, eventually sending him to the outside of the ring in an effort to re-group. Bailey doesn't give it to him, hitting a running corkscrew plancha over the top rope to the floor, taking MJF down. Back inside, Bailey hits a springboard enziguiri to get a 2 count. MJF manages to turn it around after getting his knees up on a springboard moonsault. He starts to wear Bailey down, hitting a South Hampton Plunge hammerlock DDT but only getting a 2 count. He tries for the Heat Seeker rope assisted piledriver but Bailey gets out of it and hits a lightning fast kick. A hurricanrana into a roll up almost ends it. He gets MJF in position and heads up top to hit the Ultima Weapon shooting star double knee drop. Bailey covers but MJF gets foot on the bottom rope to narrowly avoid defeat. MJF would get back the upperhand after getting out of the way of another lightning fast kick in the corner, grabbing the arm of Bailey and forcing him down into the Salt of the Earth. Bailey tried to get to the ropes but eventually had to submit.
MJF defeats Speedball Mike Bailey @ 16:43 via submission to the Salt of the Earth.
MJF gets the final spot in the championship match at the next show with this win. As MJF takes in the win, Josh Alexander comes out to remind him of what awaits but is attacked by Ethan Page! Inside the ring, Page & MJF start to kick away when Cameron Grimes and Space Monkey come out for the save, sending them on their way. There might be loose alliances now but those will quickly disappear once the bell rings in 3 weeks time.
A return date for The 6ix Wrestling is announced for Saturday, April 16, at The Mattamy Athletic Centre (Maple Leaf Gardens) in Toronto for The Crowning. The main event is fatal five way elimination match to crown a champion with Josh Alexander vs Cameron Grimes vs Space Monkey vs MJF vs Ethan Page.
