(I'm so rusty on this is just the beginning. I decided not to start with the Independent Union, and instead show how it came to form, starting with this show.)
Enjin vs. Specter
The former MMA fighter turned Deathmatch star Specter would face off against the unorthodox Enjin. Panes of glass would be featured in every corner of the ring in a sort of distopian funhouse. Specter would release a volley of combat strikes but Enjin's tolerance for pain is inhuman, the more punishment he absorbs the more he inflicts and would quickly swing the pendulum of pain in the other direction.
Specter would be the first to go crashing through the glass, with crimson streaks racing from his lacerations. Enjin would be all over him with a shard of glass, trying to carve his opponents flesh like a fucked up jigsaw puzzle. This league has little to know rules, it's a deathmatch culture so Specter would go low, where every man is equal in the pain department. Specter would try to lock in a kamura but Enjin would ram them both into another pane of glass which would explode in a rain of sharp beads.
The Deathmatch Psychopath would lick his wounds with sadistic glee as Specter is attended to by medical staff.
NO ROPE BARBED WIRE SPIDER WEBS BOUT
Kyle Storm/Zack Reznor vs. Dead on Arrival (Heretic/Scourge)
The entire outside of the ring is netted with barbed wire as these two teams faced off, Heretic would exit the ring leaving Rezor and Storm to take on Scourge. The "good guys" kept it pretty fair until Heretic would come back to the ring with a pair of wire cutters, using it to gouge Reznor with a pretty gnarly cut to the forehead. Dead on Arrival would toss Zack into the netting as they honed in on Storm who put on a great fight against Scourge as Heretic would start snipping at the barbed wire, wrapping himself in the strands using himself as a battering ram! It was bloody chaos as Storm would have to fight off two men, using a back drop on Heretic sending him spiraling out of the ring and into the webbing.
The mix of the body barbed wire and the netting would leave Heretic screaming as he ended up being wrapped up and trapped. Reznor would get back into the fight, blocking another gouging from the wire cutters, hitting a leg sweep on Scourge. Kyle Storm is an adrenaline junkie/maniac and would bring a ladder from the back into the ring.
BROKEN GLASS BOUT
Powder Keg vs. Claw
These two men are inhuman, Powder Keg is an american who was deemed to dangerous on the indy scene, so he decided to try his luck on the Japanese deathmatch circuit. Claw is a mysterious and massive, and has never been defeated in his entire career. This match had beds of broken glass around the ring as well as one in the ring. Powder Keg would bring out glue, pouring it on his taped fists before dipping into the broken glass, getting prepared taipei style. The Claw would look on tilting his head in curiousity, but as soon as the bell rang Keg would be all over him throwing heavy hands.
LADDERS AND THUMBTACKS BOUT
Avian w/ Annie Maye vs. Carrion
Carrion is one of the most cold blooded men on the roster, he is an assassin who knows the best ways to hurt someone. Avian is a master of the air, he dazzles with moves that defy death himself. The match started out pretty even with Carrion being the more accomplished grappler, but Avian would use his speed and agility to brilliantly counter everything thrown at him.
Carrion would eventually change his gameplan grounding the high flyer, using every trick possible to focus in on the knee of Avian and clip his wings. Avian would be hobbled but still fight as hard as ever! Carrion would try to exit the ring, going after Annie Maye to get Avian to back off but Annie is smart, shoving Carrion away so that Avian could execute a spaceman plancha to wipe his opponent out! The ladder would come into play as Avian would bridge it from the ring to the guard rail, only for Carrion to stun gun him across the ladder!
ELECTRICFIED BARBED WIRE BOUT (Deathmatch Title Match)
Shaolin(c) vs. "The Warlock of Wrestling" Overdose
Overdose would dazzle the crowd by spitting a fireball, which didn't connect but it did give Shaolin a taste of whats to come. Shaolin was methodical, keeping his distance, only engaging when safe as the ropes were not only replaced with barbed wire, but also electrified. Shaolin would block a few attempts but Overdose to send him into the ropes but Shaolin would counter his enemies momentum sending the Warlock into the ropes with a brilliant flash! Overdose would screech, pulling a fork out of his boot that had to give him an additional shock, but the Warlock would use the fork to carve Shaolin's skull into a bloody mess!
