1. Wahoo McDaniel Memorial Block Match: Karl Anderson (2 points) vs. Xavier Woods (0 points)
>Winner: Anderson (12:51) following the Rocket Kick
~ Anderson is the first one out again tonight but picked up the win to a strong response from the crowd. Anderson helped Woods to his feet after the match and seemed to give him some encouraging words but Xavier seems to grow more frustrated by the week with his lack of positive results.
2. Bandido & Adam Cole vs. Roderick Strong & Bobby Roode
>Winner: Roode (9:57) following the Roode Bomb on Bandido
3. Wahoo McDaniel Memorial Block Match: Kota Ibushi (4 points) vs. Johnny Gargano (2 points)
>Winner: Ibushi (18:32) with the Golden Star Bomb
~ Match of the night thus far as both men threw everything they had at one another and the near falls were coming left and right near the end. Ibushi goes to the top of the block with the victory.
4. Kazuchika Okada & Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Prince Devitt & AJ Styles
>Winner: Sabre (11:47) with the Cremation Lily on Devitt
~ Okada and Sabre seemed to tag in each time their opponent for next week was in the ring, giving an unexpected look into what may happen next week. Sabre was definitely trying to stretch Devitt as much as possible, whether looking to injure his opponent or trying to find a weakness. Devitt looked exhausted after the match and will need to find an answer to Sabre’s unorthodox offense.
5. Wahoo McDaniel Memorial Block Match: Rush (4 points) vs. Adam Page (3 points)
>Winner: Rush (16:33) following La Lanza
~ Another match of the night contender though this was much more of a slugfest from two established heavyweights as they spilled onto the floor several times. Rush would come out on top of the brawl and pull even with Ibushi at the top of the block while Page has unexpectedly fallen to the bottom half.
6. Briscoe Brothers & reDRagon vs. Young Bucks & Hermanos Oscuros
>Winner: Fenix (28:53) following a handspring cutter on Mark Briscoe
~ So much for match of the night being a conversation between the fans as this match was far away one of the best matches in the territory thus far. Action everywhere, the poor referee never stood a chance and it seemed that each team had a portion of the crowd in their corner. As things drew to a close, the near falls left the crowd split between groans and shock and when the bell finally rang, the brawl continued for several more minutes. Perfect match for the show before these teams have to do battle in the Crockett Cup.
7. Wahoo McDaniel Memorial Block Match: Jay White (5 points) vs. PAC (4 points)
>Winner: White (19:46) following a running Death Valley Driver
~ This match held up nicely considering what it had to follow and was sort of a combination of the last two block matches. Punishing strikes but as athletic of a contest as you could ask for with a number of unique counters. White takes control of the block with this impressive win and this loss may affect PAC much more if direct wins become a factor.
8. NWA North Carolina Ladies Championship Tournament Semifinal Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Hikaru Shida
>Winner: Flair (22:21) following the Natural Selection
~ The crowd seemed spoiled, and possibly worn down, by the time Shida’s music started but thankfully it was Flair in the main event and Charlotte never disappoints when a Flair is involved. Arguably the best match of the tournament and exactly what these two needed to keep the crowd engaged and push the narrative of how important the NWA North Carolina Ladies Championship is to the territory.
