6. NWA North Carolina Ladies Championship Match: Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka
>Winner: Flair (31:53) with the Figure Eight
~2nd successful defense
~Arguably the best match between two women in the history of the territory as this match was very technical and involved both ladies working over the limbs of the other. Flair has firmly established here dominance within the division with another victory over Asuka.

7. NWA North Carolina Heavyweight Championship Match: AJ Styles vs. Karl Anderson
>Winner: Anderson (44:24) following a spinebuster
~ Anderson becomes the first Champion
~ Easily match of the night as the culmination of three months of matches leads to the Asheville native, Anderson, becoming the first NWA North Carolina Heavyweight Champion. Karl was joined in the ring by cousin Brock, uncles Arn and unexpectedly Ole. The crowd popped huge for the return of Ole and gave a standing ovation as the four Andersons stood in the ring to end the night.

Booking-wise, I would say this is some of your best work. The tournament was fantastic. I know in years past, you had planned to build Anderson as a singles star, so it was nice to see you finally pull that off. One of my most significant flaws as a booker is how to move on after your initial storylines have finished. You seemingly have no issue here as Anderson's next few months seem cemented with a rapid succession of challengers. I'm not sure you'll get that far if there is a restart with the world, but congratulations on a well run tournament and thank you for coming back to finish it up all these months later!
