1. Xavier Woods vs. Andrew Everett
>Winner: Woods (9:53) following a fireman’s carry cutter
2. Britt Baker vs. Candice LeRae
>Winner: Baker (8:25) with the Lockjaw
~ Kazuchika Okada stood in front of a Great American Bash Tour 2022 backdrop and tried to convince anyone listening that Karl Anderson’s victory was nothing more than a “fluke win”. Okada pointed out that he was “undefeated in the Jack Brisco Memorial Block… in fact Anderson is my only blemish in the NWA” Okada promised to avenge his loss next week and even more motivated to “embarrass Karl in his hometown of Asheville, North Carolina”. Okada finished by pointing out that there is “only one Rainmaker in NWA Reign”.
3. PAC & Bandido vs. Kota Ibushi & Johnny Gargano
>Winner: Bandido (14:39) with a 24 plex on Gargano
~ Bandido and Gargano had a great finishing sequence as PAC and Ibushi battled relentlessly outside the ring. The brawl continued after the bell with both men throwing wildly until officials were able to pull them apart.
4. Hikaru Shida vs. Natalya Neidhart
>Winner: Shida (19:15) with an O’Connor roll
~ Shida pulls off a hard fought victory officially but clearly had a handful of trunks to hold Neidhart down. Neidhart argued with the referee after the match and glared at Shida as she laughed leaving the ringside area.
~ NWA North Carolina Heavyweight Champion Karl Anderson stood in front of a Great American Bash Tour 2022 and talked of being so proud that the “Great American Bash Tour is headed to Asheville, North Carolina!”. Anderson mentioned the “deep roots my family has in the western hills of North Carolina… from uncle Gene… to uncle Ole… to uncle Arn”. Anderson said he “specifically asked for my first defense of this prestigious championship to be in my hometown… and win or lose… Asheville… you’re going to see an Anderson defend the NWA North Carolina Heavyweight Championship in your backyard!”.
5. Rush & Bobby Roode vs. Jay White & Adam Page
>Winner: Page (16:21) following the Bull’s Horns
~ No one got along in this match, with both teams engaging in shoving matches and the finish coming down to Rush taking advantage of his own partner being knocked down in the corner. Rush could have reached down to tag himself in but instead ran along the apron and climbed into the ring and then unloaded with the Bull’s Horns onto Roode. Rush climbed from the ring and had words with a few fans at ringside as Page took advantage, dragging Roode from the corner and pinning him.
